Southampton Boat Show a resounding success for the W24

The recent Southampton International Boat Show was the first opportunity for Westline UK to show the new W24 to the UK public. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us on the stand, we were incredibly busy for the full ten days. Against expectation we took a number of orders for the first W24’s to be delivered into the UK, and we now have such demand for demonstrations we have decided to run a number of weekends where you will have the opportunity to try the boat described by Sports Boat & RIB magazine as ‘a boat to challenge Windy for build, seagoing practicality and class’ (Sports Boat & RIB - November 2007).
Demonstration weekends will be held at Hamble Point Marina, Southampton on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th of October, and at Sparkes Marina, Hayling Island on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th of October. Call 01252 835020 or email us via the contacts page on this website for an appointment.

The November issue of Sports Boat & RIB has the first full feature and test of the W24 out side Scandinavia. The full test is available to download from the W24 section on the website, so we don’t want to spoil it for you. Conducted in a strong force 6 wind and a huge 2 metre plus sea, the boat tester was appreciative of the W24’s incredible hull and sea keeping ability - not to mention the easy access deep side decks and cosseting cockpit. In his words, ‘I defy anyone who drives this boat to say that the money is not well spent’.
